FAQ / INFO - FOUR ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS
Once the decision for homecare is made, there are still four important questions to ask to ensure that the company you choose has a strong set of core values, so the best care is received.
– Trust - Has a sense of trust been established? At Salus, we believe this is key to a healthy, comfortable relationship and the wellbeing of the client. That's why we hand pick all our personal attendants, are a member of CAHSAH and provide a contract.
– Communication - Will I have access to the case manager and be able to easily communicate with the personal attendant? This is the core of Salus Homecare's approach. We believe that you should never feel there is a lack of control or communication with your personal attendant. For this reason, you are assigned a case manager who is always available.
– Delivery - Am I confident I will get the professional care promised? You chose homecare to give you and your loved one a higher quality of life, not more paperwork and troubleshooting. We understand that as key to our survival, too. We don't assure all burden will be lifted, but we do make a simple promise: we will be there. If you're not satisfied, we're not.
– Follow-up - Am I convinced there will be adequate accountability and follow-up? Homecare is dynamic; a family's needs and challenges change daily. Identifying and adapting to them is not only important, it's vital to ensuring the client a sense of dignity and independence - exactly why you chose Salus in the first place.
